The short answer
At iRepair Shrewsbury, iPhone screen repairs start from £49. The exact price depends on your model and the type of screen it uses — we always confirm the price before we start, so there are no surprises.
What affects the price?
- ✓Your iPhone model — newer and Pro models use more expensive displays.
- ✓LCD vs OLED — older models (like the iPhone 8 and XR) use LCD screens, which cost less. Most newer iPhones use OLED, which costs more to replace.
- ✓Part quality — premium-grade screens give better brightness, colour and touch response than cheap copies.
- ✓Extra damage — a bent frame or damaged camera glass can add to the job.
Is it worth repairing, or should I upgrade?
For most phones less than four or five years old, a screen repair is far cheaper than a new handset and gets you back to a phone that feels as good as new. If your phone is very old, has a failing battery and a cracked screen, it can be worth comparing the total repair cost with an upgrade — we’ll give you an honest view either way.
How long does it take?
Most iPhone screen repairs take 20–40 minutes. You can walk into our Pride Hill shop and wait, or book our mobile workshop to come to your driveway any evening between 5PM and 10PM.
